Kathy is a shareholder attorney at Nyemaster Goode, P.C. She practices primarily in real estate, with an emphasis on commercial development and renewable energy projects and data centers. She is very active in organizations, currently serving as President of The Iowa State Bar Association, and is the past-president of the Iowa Arboretum and Gardens and the Iowa Wind Energy Association. She has authored two books and is a frequent speaker on legal matters for real estate, renewable energy, attorney well-being, mental illness, and leadership.
